“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” God’s Word to the prophet Jeremiah. Are you searching for God? Are you curious what it means to be a follower of Jesus? What about a woman’s biblical role in Christianity? There’s a reason why you are here besides seeing my musings on a messy life. I long to help women understand what it means to be a disciple of Jesus through the written Word and real life.
Together we will be like the Bereans of the early Christian church studying the Bible learning what God had intended for us all along while following a discipleship model that incorporates all ages and life stages.
About Jenn
I answer to Jenn, Jenny, or Jennifer not Jen and sometimes Eckertpedia. There’s a story to that which you can find here. I enjoy the outdoors, music, painting, and the Word of God. The Bible is more than just stories from some ancient time. It is our basic instructions before leaving earth. I’m almost done homeschooling a rambunctious 100% pure boy with learning differences, and despite the difficult times, I enjoy it and would not want it any other way. I live in Minnesota that I have lovingly dubbed “the land of the frozen till summer then we melt”. It is not uncommon to find me in the outdoors during the summer with my bike, camera, or semi-portable art supplies and an MP3 player. I love the Paul Bunyan Trail and have been on 3 different sections of its 100 mile length. I also enjoy the North Shore & the rest of the North Woods of Northern Minnesota. Music inspires much of my artwork and helps draw me in to a deeper understanding of God.
I struggle to live a life that honors God more often than not. My life is messy and it is through this mess that I hope to bring God the most honor. Follow me on this journey of living through a messy life. We can help each other up when we stumble along the way.
